First, Enroll In Mobile Banking

Mobile Banking is available to anyone currently enrolled in our Online Banking service. Just follow these easy steps to get started:

  • Log on to Online Banking
  • Select User Options then Mobile Banking
  • Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
  • Select the Mobile Banking services you would like to use
  • Follow the remaining on-screen instructions

  • You must enroll in the Mobile Deposit Service. From the Main Menu of the mobile app, select Mobile Deposit, then review and accept First Security Bank’s Mobile Deposit Terms & Conditions

FAQs for Mobile Check Deposit

How do I endorse my check for Mobile Deposit?

To ensure your Mobile Deposit will be accepted, endorse the back of your check as follows: "For Mobile Deposit Only to the Account of [Customer Name]on [Date]"

How Will I know if First Security Bank received my Mobile Deposit

You can monitor the status of your deposits by accessing the Deposit Check History within the Deposit tab. If you have a check that is showing as "Failed" please call First Security Bank so we may assist you further. Most checks deposited with Mobile Deposit will show as a deposit to your selected account on the following business day.

What will I do with the original checks that I deposit using Mobile Deposit

Keep the original check for a minimum of 15 calendar days. Do not write VOID on the check after submittal in the event the deposit is not approved and needs to be resubmitted to First Security Bank for any reason. After 15 calendar days, securely destroy the original check (i.e. shredding, etc).

Is there a cut-off time to make a Mobile Deposit

Yes. A Mobile Deposit completed on a business day, before 3:00 PM CST will be deposited that same day. Any Mobile Deposit after 3:00 PM CST, on a weekend, or a federally observed holiday will be applied on the next business day. Cut-off time is subject to change.

Are there limits to the number of checks or the dollar amount of checks that I can deposit using Mobile Deposit

You can immediately deposit individual checks up to $250.00 with multiple checks totaling $1000.00 per day. If you would like to request a higher limit please call First Security Bank at 507-775-2316. Eligibility requirements and deposit limits are subject to change at the Bank's sole discretion, without notice.

1 Mobile Banking requires enrollment through the Mobile Banking app, Mobile website or Online Banking. Enrollment through the Mobile Banking app is not available on all devices. Data connection required. Wireless carrier fees may apply.

2 Mobile Check Deposits are subject to verification and not available for immediate withdrawal. In the Mobile Banking app, select Help & Support, then Mobile Check Deposit for details, including funds availability, deposit limits, proper disposal of checks, restrictions and terms and conditions. Requires at least a 2-megapixel camera. Data connection required. Wireless carrier fees may apply.
